Antique Hershede Westminster and Canterbury Mantel Chime Clock.  The Hershede Hall Clock Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.  In 1915 this clock won Grand Prize at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition and has a lovely  plaque to show for it.  The inner workings are marked:  "Patents Jan. 28 19; Oct. 21 19;  Pats. Pending".  There is also a beautiful crown mark with "Hershede..." under the crown.  Polished metal face with black raised numbers and black dials.  Walnut veneer has slight damage in one area.(Does not detract from appearance.)  This clock is working.  All seems to be original.  It needs a dual key.  W. 211/2" x H. 101/2"  Beautiful chimes.
